Little White House Shopping Spree

On New Years morning I was at a local ski hill at the family cabin. After a fun night of celebrating the new year I was lounging around in bed (you do on a New Years morning), when my sister-in-law came knocking on the bedroom door. She excitedly informed me that I had won an Instagram contest at Little White House! Well, that news shot me right up out of bed and I quickly grabbed my phone to check Instagram.

The Little White House is located in the charismatic village of Fort Langley. The shop itself is an old home that once belonged to a local Doctor and was built over 100 years ago.

This boutique is like no other that I have ever visited before. Each room of the house sells wares that reflect an individual room. For example, the bathroom sells soaps, bathmats, robes etc. The bedroom sells pillows, lamps, bedding and so on. The loveliness doesn’t stop there though. Inside the house there is a charming and beautifully decorated cafe. The cafe is separated into three rooms and includes an outdoor area which is open in the warmer months.

My sister, sister-in-law and myself were all treated to a delicious brunch in a dreamy setting as part of my shopping spree win. We sipped on the most delicious vanilla cream of Earl grey tea that I had ever had! Sidenote, I forgot to ask if they sell it but if they do I could have spent the entire $500 on that tea alone!

For brunch I ordered the stuffed French toast which was worth every bite. I hit the gym hard the next day but it was still so worth it!

After brunch and sipping and spilling the tea (both literally and figuratively) we set out to take time to explore each and every single room of the boutique.

How’s a girl to choose? There are so many pretty little things at The Little White House

With so many rooms to discover and so many beautiful things to choose from we ending up spending a couple of hours here. A trip to Little White House is definitely the best way to spend a fun, girly #SundayFunday!

One of the shops owners, Natasha was very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. She helped with sizes for clothing and shared some of her fave items in the shop. I found an absolutely beautiful vintage mirror that had been re-painted in a very soft pink that I plan to hang in our bedroom. After seeing the beautiful re-painted mirror I was inspired to do some painting myself so I also picked up some chalk paint from FAT Paint Co. I’m now on the hunt at local antique and thrift stores to find furniture to paint and bring back to life.

Decisomns, deciosn.

Decisions, decisions.

After walking around the house and picking out a few housewares items I also tried on some of the beautiful clothing. Of course we had to stop for a mid-shopping photo shoot! Here I am with my sister wearing a top and cardigan both from Little White House. I could not resist this soft white cardigan and ended up getting it.

In our shopping spree adventures I also picked up a bath caddy, which I have always seen and admired in styled Pinterest photos. I’m now so happy to have one of my own. It even comes with a wine and candle holder to use in the bath! Simply amazing. I’ll be sure to share a photo of that soon.

After we dined and finished shopping my goodies were packaged up and tied with a bow.

Thank you so much to the Little White House for choosing me as your winner for the shopping spree. I can’t wait to come back for a visit again soon!
